1. How can I go "within” ?
A. I suggest that you learn and practice meditation regularly. This has helped me a great deal, and now I meditate daily. After a while, the answers to your questions will come to you, but you must be persistent and patient and not get discouraged. This is a practice for a lifetime.
2. Are all problems helped by past life therapy ?
A. It is not always necessary to discover our past lives in order to live better lives in the present. Not all of our problems have their source in the past. Many people have enough understanding about themselves without delving in the past so that they can live this life in a healthy fulfilling, way.
3. Is it possible to go into future lives ?
A. Recently I have been progressing people into the future, especially into future lifetimes. I have been doing this with individuals and with groups.
4. Why do we reincarnate ?
A. I think everybody reincarnates because we have many lessons to learn, lessons about love, compassion, charity, nonviolence, inner peace, patience, etc. It would be hard to learn them all in only one life. Also, some people come back voluntarily to help others.
5. Do all souls reincarnate ?
A. I think that sometimes you have to come back. If your learning is not finished, you find yourself being born into another lifetime. There may be some choices involved, however, but apparently there are limits to the choices. Highly evolved souls do not have to come back but often choose to reincarnate to help as teachers.
6.
Do souls reincarnate immediately ?
A. Reincarnation is not always and not usually immediate. The in-between state may last a long time. Also, our soul is far greater than our physical body. It is not limited by our constructs of space and time.
7. Can there still be communication with a loved one if that soul has reincarnated ?
A. Souls can reincarnate and often do, but their spirit also remains "available" in the spiritual world. Our soul is far greater than our physical body; it's not limited by our constructs of space and time.
8. Can souls "split” ?
A. In rare circumstances a soul can split and have more than one experience at the same time in order to increase its learning opportunities.
9. Where do the souls come from if there are more people on earth now than ever before ?
A. I have posed this question to many patients and the answer is always the same: This is not the only place where there are souls. There are many dimensions, many different levels of consciousness where there are souls. Why should we feel that we're the only place? There is no limit to energy. This is one school of many schools.
Also, it is true that souls can split and have simultaneous experiences.
10. Do animals have souls ?
A.
I think that animals have souls. At least this comes up in my work from time to time. I'm not sure that their souls are as individuated as ours, and there may be more emphasis on their group soul. Frequently we become aware of a pet or loved animal when we cross to the other side, but I'm open to the possibility. Perhaps they do but we don't retain the memory from those states.
11. Do we have twin soul mates ?
A.
I do think we have a twin soulmate but soulmates are not always in body at the same time. This does not mean other relationships are not very important for learning.
12. What if my soul mate is no longer in my life ?
A.
Having a soul mate connection does not mean that one is obligated to spend a lifetime together. One has many soul mates in one's lifetime. Often when the lessons to be learned in the relationship are completed, the relationship has a natural ending and the two souls move on. Also, there are many types of love and many types of soul relationships. Romantic love is only one of these types.
13. What is the relationship between destiny and free will ?
A.
I think that destiny and choice both exist and keep interacting with each other. As you make a choice it changes the future. Maybe the possibilities and probabilities change to an extent as you do that. We learn because of free choice, but we also have destiny.
14. What is the relationship between dreams and past life memories ?
A. Often dreams contain fragments of past life memories. Also, frequently the material elicited through past life regressions contains metaphors and symbols and can trigger dream experiences. For a detail insight you may read,’ Through Time into Healing’, which is a more clinical book than the others and goes into more detail regarding the process.
15. Do you train people in the techniques of past life therapy?
A.
In the professional training course I start with the basics of hypnosis and progress to theories and techniques of past life regression. It's an experiential course, and everyone gets a chance to practice techniques and be supervised. The professional trainings are geared to therapists who want to learn the techniques of regression therapy. However, because the course is primarily an experiential one with many large group, small group, and one-on-one exercises, it is open to anyone who wants this intensive experience of growth and self-exploration. In the past, at least 30% of the attendees were not therapists. A certificate of completion is awarded at the end of the course.
16. Do you have to be a therapist to take part in the professional training ?
A.
The workshops marked "Professional Training" are intensive courses directed mainly at teaching those in the healing professions how to use this technique. However, there is no requisite background for attending the course. Since the course consists of mainly experiential work with large and small group exercises as well as one-to-one practice, some people without any background in therapy and without any interest in using this technique as an occupation come to the trainings to take part in the intense experience.
17. How does Past-Life-Regression help me to overcome the problems being faced by me at present?
A. We are the sum total of all the experiences of all our past lives. The effects of your past actions will be felt by you in your present. Almost all of the problems being faced now (health problems, psychosomatic diseases, relationship issues, recurring negative patterns in life situations, lack of clarity about the purpose of your life, stagnation in spiritual growth etc.) have their root causes in past lives. There is an old saying - "To relive is to relieve". Once a traumatic or unpleasant situation is relived during the regression, it results in greater understanding at deeper levels of the psyche. In fact, it is trauma that is buried deep inside our subconscious that is the cause of many unexplainable problems faced in this lifetime. Therefore, once the buried trauma is brought to the conscious awareness through regression, the problems start mitigating automatically and naturally. Past-Life-Regression works on the principle of cause and effect and helps removes the effects by addressing the root causes. By going to a root cause and understanding how it has affected the present, profound natural healing takes place automatically. Past-Life-Regression works simultaneously on Body, Mind, Intellect, and Spirit and heals at all levels.
18. If we really had past-lives, would we not remember them automatically?
A. In reality there are many an occasions when we 'remember' our past lives. At times, these remembrances occur spontaneously. On many other occasions, certain external events or stimulus can act as a trigger and the memory of our past life/lives surfaces. This could happen for instance:
a) When you meet someone for the first time but you get the uncanny feeling that you know that person extremely well.
b) While visiting a foreign country for the first time and knowing where a building or road is.
c) When you are in a situation and get a feeling that you have been in exactly the same situation in the past though you have no evidence of such a situation in this lifetime.
d) When you meet a person for the first time and have an immediate feeling of lack of trust for the person.
e) When you meet a person for the first time and you get the feeling of immense love for and emotional attachment to that person (this is commonly known as love at first sight).
f) When as child you used to have (you may still have them) memories of having lived in a different place in a different family and in different life circumstances. The narration of such experiences usually fell on deaf ears and you were gradually conditioned to believe that those past-life experiences and memories of those past-life experiences were not valid.
There are many other ways in which situations in this lifetime trigger our past-life memories. Most of us, however, are conditioned to ignore those subtle intuitive messages.
19. Is Past-Life-Regression a form of Hypnotism?
A. Past-Life-Regression is not a form of Hypnotism. Though it is commonly believed that Past-Life-Regression is achieved only through hypnosis, hypnosis is just one of the many techniques of Past-Life-Regression. The techniques are as follows:
Hypnosis
Non-Hypnotic Techniques
Bridge techniques
- Affect bridge technique
- Somatic bridge technique
- Linguistic bridge technique
- Visual bridge technique
Re-birthing breath technique
Spontaneous recall
Dreams
Meditation.
The techniques used for Past-Life-Regression for a particular individual are those that are best suited to that individual.
20. Is it possible that a person undergoing Past-Life-Regression gets stuck in the trance state and cannot come back to normal waking consciousness?
A. A person undergoing Past-Life-Regression always comes back to normal waking consciousness however deep the trance is. This is in much the same way as a person having a dream always wakes up! Past-Life-Regression is an altered state of consciousness similar to a dream state wherein hitherto inaccessible memories are accessed.
21. If I undergo a Past-Life-regression Session and experience one or more past-lives, will I be able to remember the experience after the session is over?
A. Yes. However, the clarity with which you remember may vary from person to person and session to session. The experience becomes a part of you and sometimes, more memories are triggered after the session resulting in spontaneous recall of past lives.
22. How many sessions do I need to take?
A. We recommend three sessions for adequate level of clarity to be achieved. However, this is not a hard and fast rule and the actual number of sessions required varies based on the complexity of the issues to be resolved. We normally review the situation after the first session. If the response is good, then we go ahead with the second and third sessions on consecutive days (only one session can be given per day). If not, a gap of at least one month is given after which sessions can be taken again. During this period, you will be required to practice meditation, which helps to open you up and clear the blocks that might be preventing you from experiencing your past lives.
23. Is there any age limit for a person to undergo Past-Life-Regression?
A. There is no rigid age limit. However we prefer that children are at least 12 years old.
24. I do not have any specific problem. However, I am curious to know my past-lives. Is it still all right to undergo Past-Life-Regression?
A. Curiosity is as good a reason any other! However, in our experience, we have observed that many people who come to us thinking initially that have no issues actually realize that they do have significant issues to be resolved. Past-Life-Regression helps to resolve such issues and gain clarity about the purpose of your life.
25. My child is a spastic. How will I be able to find out the root cause through past life regression?
A. It may not be possible to regress the child. However, it would be immensely beneficial if one or both of the parents undergo past-life-regression. This would provide a lot of clarity and understanding about why the child has chosen the disability in this life and also why, as parents, you have chosen to this particular life-situation.
26. What are the benefits of past life regression ?
A. 1. To overcome certain health problems, phobia and fears which may have root cause in the past.
2. To know more about your soulmates.
3. To interact with your spiritual guide/master/angel & to increase your intuition.
4. To retrieve your past life talents & skills.
5. To have clarity about cause and effect for better spiritual growth.
6. To have clarity about the purpose of life.
27. Do I need to believe in past life in order to attend ?
A. You do not need to be a believer in past life. You may continue with your belief systems and it is perfectly all right. This is just an experience which is educational and therapeutic in nature. It is meant for your personal and professional growth.
28. What if I come across some painful memories of the past that I don't want to view?
A. Memories are not painful but it's the association with painful emotions which causes us the hurt. Your subconscious mind will only show you those memories and events which are of therapeutic importance and which you are able to cope with at the given time. Memories which you will not be able handle are not shown to you. Moreover, during the workshop you will learn Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), an instant, emotional balancing technique which helps you handle extremes of emotions effortlessly and painlessly.
29. What if I do not regress?
A. Everyone who has a past can regress to their past. The only difference is that some of us can visualize this process very well whereas others can hear things, or feel things or may just "know" events. Under all the above mentioned circumstances, you may get your desired results.
30. How reliable is the past life therapy ?
A. The program is of therapeutic value. It is not important whether the past life is verifiable or not. What matters is that the "past life" is coming from your own subconscious mind, and it is important to address the issues that come up, as they are affecting your present life. When healed they help you grow and progress in life.
31. How reliable is future progression ?
A. Future progression is a technique by which you can view your highest possible potential. Whether you make this a reality or not is a choice that you make.
